Honestly, most days I’m still trying to figure that out myself, but I will attempt to put a short synopsis into words.(It’s sort of a big ramble but just bear with me.)

My name is Cat. I am 36 years old and I live on a small farm in Texas, and I have been (mostly)blissfully married to the love of my life for 13 years.

We have 3 very rambunctious boys. Austin is 14, going on 25. (or so he thinks.)Aaron and Christian are Fraternal twins and are both 12. The twins had a very rough start in this world due to being premature, and vaccine injured. As a result of this they are both on the Autism Spectrum(Christian more severely than Aaron), and Aaron has Epilepsy.  Life is NEVER dull in my house. (Or quiet..)

My kids and family are EVERYTHING to me and I love living out here in the country on our farm.

I am a TOTAL Crazy Cat Lady. I blame this on both my mother, and my love of cute cuddly furry creatures that vibrate.  At the current time I have 6 cats in my household. If I could have it my way we would have at least 12 more because I personally think you can’t EVER have enough cats. However, I would like to remain married so I keep it down to 6.

We also have 2 dogs. Sasha is an Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix. Layla looks like she is half Polar Bear and Half White Lab. Although I have been told she is just a VERY VERY LARGE Great Pyrenees.

We recently got into horses, Yes, horses. We have Buckwheat a 2 year old beautiful Palomino colt, Duben a 15 year old Arabian Gelding, and Eddie an 8 year old Jack Donkey. They are probably the most entertaining animals on the planet.

Most of the animals we have now we have either rescued from trees or the side of the road. It’s good to get free pets!(Remember to Spay and Neuter!)

I plan on raising chickens in the near future. The very thought of farm fresh eggs just makes me salivate, plus some breeds of chicken are quite beautiful!

There have been many times in my life that I have started blogs and abandoned them. This is either due to loss of interest on my part, or I get so darned busy with LIFE that I don’t have time to write.  This may or may not be one of those times.

I have VERY BAD undiagnosed ADD. I can be slightly obsessive/compulsive. This is the reason why when you come to my house you will find it in one of two states. It will either be sparkling clean and everything will be in it’s place(an OCD phase) OR You will find it in total chaos and there might not be anywhere for you to sit or a cup to drink out of. (ADD phase) Mostly though, it’s semi-chaos and there will be a place to sit, and a hot cup of coffee in the pot. (and me glued to the computer screen..)

I spent the first 33 years of my life trying to please everyone around me and make sure that everyone liked me.   I have decided that I really don’t give a rats ass what anyone thinks of me. It’s been very liberating.

I was raised by very Devout Southern Baptist Republicans.  It took me some time but I have almost fully recovered from that.

I am a simple girl.  I don’t fuss with makeup most days, and I could care less what store my jeans come from.  You will never see me with a Louis Vuitton purse, or Big Sunglasses. I do not own anything made by Ed Hardy.

I am a TOTAL gadget queen and NERD.  I’m addicted to my Kindle and my Laptop more than I can even describe. I love tech toys and things of that nature.  I’m always on the lookout for the next big thing. I play video games more than any adult woman should, and I can rock out on Guitar Hero with the best of them.

I spend a LOT more time on Facebook and Twitter than I should.

I think if you could meet me in person you’d probably want to be my BFF.

I was born in Baton Rouge Louisiana.  I proudly proclaim my coonass-ness to everyone who will listen to me. I am a HUGE fan of the LSU Tigers Football Team.  I try to go home to Baton Rouge at least once a year. I make one of the best pots of Gumbo you will ever taste, and I can throw an EPIC Crawfish Boil when the mood strikes me. (On second thought just about every party I throw is an epic event.)

I also make the best Top Shelf Margarita, dirty martini, or Jello Shot you will ever taste.
